I came to your blog from "The Crescat". I have a story to tell.
I have been on anti-anxiety medication for many years, and while I feel it has saved my life, it has left me with an inability to cry, except under the most very dire of circumstances. It took me two years to cry over my mother's death ten years ago, for instance, and it took my beloved husband's funeral to bring me to tears two years ago.
Earlier today, I had the passing thought that perhaps if I asked the Blessed JP II, he could help me to cry. I don't remember doing it, I just had the thought. But tonight, as I watched this video, I got tears in my eyes, and by the end I was bawling. I was crying for joy that this man lived, that he was our Pope,...just crying for EVERYTHING. It was wonderful. I feel it was a small miracle.
