Boy born at 23 weeks, now preparing for pre-school

Nathan was born at 23 weeks.

While there was such enormous efforts to save little Nathan's life when he was born at 23 weeks, is it unreasonable to ask why in the same country (or maybe even in the same hospital) there were unborn babies who were just shy of 24 weeks who were being aborted?

Natan as he is now, a very healthy and bright little boy.
