Acquaint your family and friends with Padre Pio in less than three minutes

This tiny video gives an essential sketch of Padre Pio’s life, and in under three minutes, you may present his life to your family and friends, who may know nothing of this great saint. Padre Pio’s character and personality is very clearly presented – the video includes that Padre Pio underwent an operation without anaesthetic. He feared that if he was drugged, the surgeon could and would sneak a peek at his stigmata. So greatly ‘embarrassed’ was Padre Pio on account of visibly carrying Christ’s wounds, that he prayed to God to make them invisible.

  2. "Over twenty Roasaries in one day"... He must have said the Rosary in the way that Eastern Orthodox monks say the Jesus Prayer - as a means to "prayer withous ceasing". Do you have any information on this?

  3. Padre Pio would say the Rosary constantly. Once when he was asked to increase his prayer life, he said that it was impossible to so do because he was already reciting as many prayers as was physically possible. There were times when Padre Pio was known to say a 15-decade Rosary as many as 35 times per day.

Our Lady at Fatima asked six times for the daily recitation of five decades. I obey this request, and think it great if I've said two or three Rosaries, but twenty per day is spectacular!

  5. That's very interesting. Thanks for the information. I think that learning more about how saints prayed is the key to knowing how they become holy - and to knowing how (in our own small and imperfect way) we can strive to imitate at least something of their holiness.

  8. I love Padre so much. He's so challenging, but so intriguing. So mysteriously powerful, but with the most delightful humility. One of the greatest saints that ever lived - and he shared the 20th century with us!

  9. St. Padre Pio is the greatest sainr of our times! I have loved him since the age of eighteen and feel extremely blessed by God to live in this era to have come to know St. Padre Pio as our friend and intercessor.

Every prayer request is answered in whatever way God wills through St. Pio. He sends many signs which allows us to know he is with us in spirit interceeding for our requests. Rest assurred strenghening graces are given to one who calls upon this holy saint to accept and bear the crosses of life with hope!

"Thank you" St. Padre Pio for accepting God's call to holy priesthood and teaching us to love God. Thank you for offering your suffering and pains during your earthly life for souls salvation. Thank you St. Padre Pio for loving and teaching us to love The Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Heavenly and Spiritual Mother. Thank you St. Padre Pio for allowing us to send you our Guardian Angels whenever in need and thank you for sending your Guardian Angel to watch over us. There are so many "thank you's" I could continue to write forever so we will say, "St. Padre Pio, your children love you and need you!" Please pray for us eternslly.

Thank you Jesus for the golden gift of St. Padre Pio.

This video is wonderful as it is simple and states the most prominent parts of St. Padre Pio's life. We commend you highly for sharing it.

We are grateful for your posting it and hope to view more of his life and the lives of those who have drawn us closer to the Lord.

We need God in our lives for He is our Creator of love for all people no matter what faith they behold.

Let us pray, for prayer is the key that opens the heart of God!

May you receive a visable sign from St. Padre Pio as we pray for all who are blessed to view this video.
