THE MOST CHILLING THING I HAVE EVER HEARD

At the start of Lent, I had been praying for something that would help me understand the concept of abuse of God's mercy, because I have wondered if I may be guilty of that. I have been hoping to overcome some personal sin, and I have needed to reckon with myself as to whether I want to persist in such sin and potentially exhaust the reserve of God's mercy for me, or turn from my ways. Just scrolling through You-Tube, I found this short, 40 minute long excerpt from Alphonsus Liguori's Preparation For Death, consideration 17, Abuse of Divine Mercy. 

This is very powerful medicine for the soul, and like a strong antibiotic, it may make you feel much worse before you feel and act better.
