"I SEE SO MANY SOULS OF THE DEAD THEY DON'T FRIGHTEN ME ANYMORE..."
The title of this post is something Padre Pio said after he had gotten used to souls in Purgatory coming to him asking for prayer and Holy Masses to be offered for them. I have had a few encounters with souls in Purgatory - nothing on the level that Pio had - but I echo him when I say they don't cause me anxiety anymore.
I had a lovely time appearing on Alvaro Interiano's podcast, "Uniquely Mary", and I spoke about the time a lady in the highest part of Purgatory came and comforted me when I'd spent 2 years working on the book, and had another 6 years to go. She is now in the heavenly realm and enjoys bliss.
Potentially I made a political faux-pas when I shared that Uniquely Mary is my favorite You-Tube channel and that I love the show Alvaro did on Our Lady of Knock. I don't want other podcasts to feel the less, it's just that I have a shared passion with Alvaro and his viewers for coming to the aid of those souls being assayed in Purgatorial flames.
Thank you so much for writing this book and for doing the interview on Alvaro's YouTube channel. I just found out about your blog through your inteview with Alvaro, and I bought a copy of your book.
