 ...of watching Wildcat, the thrilling biopic of author, Flannery O'Connor. It is an unflinchingly portrayal of her intellectual and physical agony as she grappled with finishing her novel, Wise Blood.   It is now available to rent on YouTube


I have been a longtime fan of the gothic novelist, going so far as to have the Wise Blood poster hung on the wall.


And even on occasion stalking peacocks, their feathers are Flannery's symbol. They were also her avian muse - the young girl in The Life You Save May Be Your Own - is said to have eyes that are the color of a peacock's neck.
