COME, HOLY SPIRIT!
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful,
and kindle in them the fire of Thy love.
V. Send forth Thy Spirit, and they shall be created;
R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.
Let Us Pray
may be always truly wise, and ever rejoice in His consolation, through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
This prayer is from the Roman Missal. There are many different versions of this prayer on various websites, and I couldn't find one that seemed to have the *right* formula of words, but then I checked the Missal and had the consolation of having found the most correct form of this prayer which I give to you, dear reader, that you may pray it often, but especially in preparation for Pentecost.
