NOVENA TO ST JOSEPH FOR ANTI-PRESIDENT, JOSEPH BIDEN
I find it astounding that we are in the Year of St Joseph, and that the newly inaugurated anti-President has the first name Joseph. I'm appalled by Joseph Biden's policies, not least his extreme support for late-term abortion. His election has caused merriment among Planned Parenthood, who count as some of his most ardent fans.
While it is nothing short of a travesty that Joseph Biden is the ruling president, you and I need to go to St Joseph urgently for Joseph Biden's conversion. We need pray to St Joseph for Joseph Biden. I know, it seems unlikely that Joseph Biden - the anti-Catholic Catholic president - will convent and repent of his years as a pro-abortion zealot.
Today when I first felt called to pray to St Joseph for Joseph Biden, I had a barrage of negative thoughts and my cynicism was high. Well, I am actually very cynical. But then I felt an uplift of hope from the Lord, and I don't think the Holy Spirit would have inspired me to pray were there no grace on offer. Let us pray to St Jospeh for Joseph Biden in a spirit of boundless trust in Our Lord!
I invite you to join the Novena to St Joseph. I think it is best if we start this novena as soon as possible, but start the novena when you discern it is best for you to pray for Joseph Biden. Please feel free to spread the novena far and wide, even if you are attacked for doing so, and even if you are laughed at, put down and castigated for being either a simpleton who thinks prayer can work to save a man like Joseph Biden, or told you are lacking as a person because you dare suggest Jospeh Biden needs prayer.
Let not your prayers to St Joseph for Joseph Biden end with the novena, make this Year of St Joseph the year when you entrust the conversion of Joseph Biden to the care of Joseph, the foster father of Jesus. Let not a day of this Year of St Joseph go by without entrusting Joseph Biden to St Joseph. Imagine, if at the end of the Year of St Joseph, Joseph Biden were to repent publicly of his past life?!
I may pray for Joseph Biden, but I will always, always love Trump. Here I am with my treasured coffee mug which has a picture of the Donald on it.
Think of all the souls lost who follow his example. I pray for them too. Jesus, Mary, I Love You, Save Souls!
ReplyDeleteAmen to that Mary!! I love your post.
ReplyDeleteI prayed that Biden wouldn't become president.
ReplyDeleteYes, and Biden was inaugurated on Wednesday which is the day of the week dedicated to St. Joseph.
ReplyDeleteThere is hope. Let's pray for his conversion. If there is one prayer God cannot say 'NO' to, it's prayer for conversion. I do not have to like him but I can pray for him.
ReplyDeleteSO strange that I just recently asked a priest to come up with a prayer to St. Joseph for Joseph Biden that we could all join together to pray! Is it prophetic that we have a Joseph as President in the year of St. Joseph? The above prayer for St. Joseph has always been my favorite...so simple and sweet. Father Joseph, pray for us all!
ReplyDeleteI have been praying the litany of Saint Joseph every day for the conversion of Joe Biden and so that at his death, he is not put to shame at his judgement. Let us stay united in prayer for his conversion.
ReplyDeletePlease remember, everyone, that we can pray as long and as fiercely as we like, and whether J. Biden seems to respond or not. Those prayers won't be in vain! Our Lord will apply them to another needy soul if necessary, because He knows we want His holy will accomplished.
ReplyDeletePray also for the conversion of the other pro abortion politician and alleged Catholic, Nancy Pelosi.
DeleteSometimes it is difficult to pray for one like Joseph Biden, who seems to mock all that we believe. But as Mary Kate stated the prayers will not be wasted. Plus we can rest assured that Jesus will be pleased because He said to pray for our enemies.
ReplyDeleteGood call, Mary. I am in on this, too. I remember this prayer well from my childhood.
ReplyDeleteCan we all also pray for the republican congress members work together as a team not sell each other out for the love of money? :-).
ReplyDeleteI too am getting to know St. Joseph. When my husband died in April of 2019, I asked him to be my spouse. You see, he led me to Mike and we were married 30 years!!
ReplyDeleteWe'll pray for J. Biden . God have a reason for not grantingour prayer and letting the anti catholiçs to win,let us pray for them that they don't do more damage to our broken world....
