...that she gave the BBC here.  She appeared on Desert Island Discs in 1998. 

I was very curious to hear Alice Thomas Ellis's voice, but hard as I tried I could not find a television appearance that Alice Thomas Ellis gave, if indeed, she ever gave one. I need not have felt the lack, because this interview is radio gold.  I had to download the interview and listen to it on Groove Music because the Beeb sent me a message saying I could not listen on their site because of my location.
