Hi, Jon! Thank you for your thoughtful comment, and I'm delighted it afforded insight into Purgatory and the poor souls whose plight I am ever eager to lessen and even relieve completely. They have won my heart. God bless you, too, and reward you, Mary
Dearest Mary, you are wonderful!! I just bought your book! And I am looking forward to reading it. I had been praying and asking Padre Pio to make me his spiritual daughter for about 2 years. I attended a retreat in Pennsylvania, Father Blount brings with him the robe of Padre Pio... when I was venerating the robe, I stuck my nose to smell his scent (and i truly felt I smelled him, a smell like medicine but pleasant) and ask Padre Pio to give me a sign that he'd make me his spiritual daughter, as I kissed his robe. That night I thought, who am I to be asking this, silly me. Well, the next day after the retreat ended, I headed to my room and when I entered my room, the room smelled like roses!!! Literally a strong smell of roses!! I believe that was my sign!! I am looking forward Mary, to reading your book. You are a beautiful soul, Mary. Thank you, my sister, in Christ. Cecilia Ayala
Dear Cecilia, Thank you for your kind comment and for sharing the wondrous account of the sacred scent of roses that met you in your room. This is the same scent of the stigmata, the blood mopped from Pio's wounds always smelled of roses and sometimes were a mix of roses and violets, with just roses being the most consistent fragrance. Wonderful to make the acquaintance of a fellow spiritual daughter, God bless you Sis! Mary
It was a brilliant interview, which gave me tremendous insight into suffering and Purgatory. God bless you!
