MOTHER TERESA: "NEVER FORGET THAT YOUR JOB AS A MOTHER IS THE MOST IMPORTANT JOB IN THE WHOLE WORLD"
These were words spoken by Mother Theresa to Debbie Herbeck, a Jewish convert, who met Mother when she had two little babies, and when she was having a hard time.
This is a very edifying message for mothers everywhere; I think it could be a salutary and sanctifying exercise for mothers with young children (or children of any age) to imagine themselves in the place of Debbie and hear Mother Theresa's message as though she were speaking to them directly. I invite you to share Debbie's account of meeting Mother Teresa with someone who may benefit from it today. That said, it may be overly guilt inducing for mothers who did not treat their role as important to the point they neglected their children or made mistakes that could have been avoided, so I'd advise discretion. But mothers who have regrets may wish to share it with others in a spirit of humility.
