WOW! PADRE PIO COULD TRILOCATE
Padre Pio lived with a younger friar, Padre Pellegrino and had a long history with him. Pellegrino was big eyed with bushy eyebrows and was also a pest. He was stubbornly jealous of Padre Pio's ability to bilocate, to be in two places at once so that Pio could be in his cell in the monastery, and simultaneously present in Berlin or Paris. Pio had endless frequent flyer miles of the mystical variety.
Pellegrino in his memoirs admitted that envy drove him to attempt to curtail Pio's mystical voyages. He urged Pio mischievously to ask permission of their superiors before making his trips by way of bilocation. Pio was composed and cool-headed and defended himself thus, "If it is true that my person is in several places, by bilocation, by trilocation, you must ask God and not me. I can only tell you that I endeavor to remain always attached to the thread of His will. For that reason I find myself always where I am."
And if Pellegrino was miffed Pio could bilocate, imagine his bitter emotion upon learning of Pio's triple trips!
Wow, Padre Pio is an embarrassment of riches, a mystic of so many marvels that I, for one, can scarcely keep up with understanding his myriad gifts.
I have found no mention on the internet of Pio's ability to trilocate, to be in three places at once, so that he could serve three sets of souls in three separate locations at the same exact time. I think the first time it got mentioned online was today in my appearance on Alvaro Interiano's podcast, Uniquely Mystic.
Oh, and big-eyed Pellegrino was the primary assistant helping Pio on his deathbed. By then he'd gotten over his petty, resentful ways, and was like a diligent nurse at Pio's side.

Padre Pio is without question one of the greatest saints ever. His radical humility gained him countless graces from God. Definitely a saint to admire! Congrats to you, Mary, for making known to us so much information regarding this giant of our faith.

Well I don’t believe this nonsense. Jesus performed miracles for a reason, why would God be using this circus…three ring circus that Pio was always eager to promote. He has always come across to me as lascivious and a charleton and performer.
ReplyDeleteYou have been very plain-spoken in your comment and haven't gilded your opinion, so I'm grateful I know exactly where you are coming from, so I'd like to invite you to re-assess your views and read further on Padre Pio and see if you still feel the same way.
DeleteOne thing I'll address; Pio was no charlatan. He bore the stigmata invisibly and then visibly for 58 years, the deep wounds of crucifixion. Then before he died, the wounds miraculously healed, and Pio's hands were like that of a newborn baby. Pio's hand prints were like he had never had the lesions.
I'd love were you to read my book and see if my arguments for Pio's purity, humility and sanctity will change your heart. Totally up to you, but you could be missing out on a mighty intercessor. God bless you and thank you for your comment.
Oh Mary, don't waste your time with people like these. They do not understand how God's grace and wonders work. Only an ignorant would doubt Pio's holiness. Keep up the good work. Regards,

Thank you, Catherine, for your encouragement. I got some nasty stuff in the last few days to which I won't respond. I just use the same energy and time to pray. God bless you and yours, Mary
DeleteThis makes me wonder if Pio's ability to be in more than one place at a time has been amplified further since his death. Can he appear in 4 or 5 or 6 different places at the same time. ? The sheer number of people who have encountered this man since his death indicates this could be the case.
ReplyDeleteDear Mary,
ReplyDeletePerhaps this interview might be a complementary resource? All the best to you!

Thank you!
I quote : "By then he'd gotten over his petty, resentful ways, and was like a diligent nurse at Pio's side. "
ReplyDeleteReading this passage, and based on my own experience, I observe that a person's true love, often masked and distorted by the sufer and evil, can only be fully revealed in times of great misfortune and adversity. This was also the case for Longinus when he pierced the side of our Lord, and then said, "This man was indeed the Son of God..." and he converted...
Thus, your light, Lord Jesus, shines and will always shine even in the deepest darkness.
May your light, O Jesus Christ, always enlighten us. Amen.
God bless.
Francescu.
