MAY I INVITE YOU TO JOIN ME IN OFFERING THE NOVENA TO ST ANDREW AVELLINO?

If we start tomorrow, November 2nd, we will finish on St Andrew Avellino's feast day, November 10th. I am praying for the father of a great friend of mine who I met when she and her husband asked after my Miraculous Medal

Her daddy, aged only 63 recently had a serious heart attack that was fatal, but he survived and is in recovery. W. C. S. are her daddy's initials, and he is not a Catholic, but we are praying for him to come into the Faith.

Please of your love, consider offering this novena for W.C.S. We are invoking St Andre Avellino who died suddenly at the altar, because we are asking his intercession that W.C.S. does not die precipitously from cardiac arrest.

May I ask you to leave a comment if you are joining the novena (join any time on any day) and please leave your own intentions; that me and my readers may also pray for you and your loved ones.

Novena to St Andre Avellino

O most glorious saint,
whom God has made our protector against apoplexy,
seeing that you yourself did die of that disease,
we earnestly pray to you to preserve us
from an evil so dangerous and so common.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

By the intercession of St Andrew, stricken with apoplexy,
From a sudden and unprovoked death,
Deliver us, O Lord.

O most glorious saint,
if ever by the just judgment of God
we should be stricken with apoplexy,
we earnestly beseech you to obtain for us
time enough to receive the Last Sacraments
and die in the grace of God.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

By the intercession of St Andrew, stricken with apoplexy,
From a sudden and unprovoked death,
Deliver us, O Lord.

O most glorious saint,
who didst endure, before dying, a terrible agony,
through the assaults of the devil,
from which the Blessed Virgin and St. Michael delivered you,
we earnestly beseech you to assist us
in the tremendous moment of our death.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

By the intercession of St Andrew, stricken with apoplexy,
From a sudden and unprovoked death,
Deliver us, O Lord.

Mention your intention(s) here...

St Andrew,
Pray for us.
